Theory before the tender

Understand how each formula distributes price points

The curve considered before bids are received starts from an assumption. When a formula depends on the bid set, the observed references can produce a different effective curve.

Relative formulasThe curve depends on the lowest bid, the maximum price reduction or other data from the bid set.
Absolute formulasThe same price reduction retains its position when fixed parameters are used.
Threshold formulasThe slope changes after a defined price reduction.
Relative exponentialn = 1 ↓Linear↑ k = 1k-th root
